Guitar Presence

Kevin is a musician and audio engineer residing in Mountain View, CA

His musical styles range from rock, jazz, blues, funk, folk, country, and pop. He is the owner of Guitar Presence Productions, which includes a recording studio and instrument and amplifier repair service. He also works freelance as a sound engineer for live shows and is available for session work or live gigs on guitar. Kevin specializes in recording and producing local bands in the San Francisco South Bay Area as well as playing guitar in local bands. He is also a songwriter/composer and music arranger. 

Kevin began playing trumpet and age 7 and move to guitar at age 15. As his day job, Kevin worked in various music stores and service centers until moving over to the tech industry in Silicon Valley. Having worked for Digidesign/Avid, Otari and Adobe to name a few, he learned the behind the scenes of music recording and editing of both audio and video. Kevin retired from tech several years ago and now focuses on all thing’s music and audio.

Previous band that Kevin  was a member of include: Trap Door, Fairfield Hills, Just Another Band, What's Cookin', City Side Mojo, Razor Red,  Screaming Goats and Acoustic Moonshine.

Kevin is currently playing bass and singing backup vocals for the Post 89' band.
